This tool has blogs for both teachers and students. Edublogs allows a teacher to set up a blog their students can interact with and respond to posts. Edublogs has a place for blog posts, links, wikis, forums, comments, and various settings to ensure ease of use and privacy.
How does tool apply to your curricular area?
For business and marketing classes you could use these blogs to post assignments and link various real world business links. For example you could link the stock markets opening and closing reports and have students comment on why particular companies and markets did well or poorly for a particular period of time. You could also have students create a blog post for an assignment in which they gave their opinion on a company's future value and have students read and comment on each others posts.
